According to journalist Ben Jacobs, “Roberto De Zerbi joined on a long‑term project and my feeling with Tottenham is there’s not really a sporting infrastructure in place to make a decision.” He added that continued poor results would force clubs to consider a succession plan.
Jacobs also warned, “I’m not expecting a surprise departure in the international break, but he will know results need to improve quickly.” The source said the board remains relatively calm behind the scenes.

TEAMtalk reported that Tottenham remain fully behind the Italian, despite his modest record, while a source insisted, “There is nobody better than Roberto to turn this around… he is very much still the man for Tottenham.”
