Spurs chase Mudryk as Chelsea clear squad and Como eye Sanchez

Tottenham Hotspur aim to fill an attacking gap and revive their forward line by targeting Ukrainian winger Mykhailo Mudryk. Chelsea have accepted Tottenham’s offer, paving the way for the 25‑year‑old to join the club and reunite with former Shakhtar manager Roberto De Zerbi at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea accept Tottenham and Como bids

The report, Published 52 minutes ago, confirms Chelsea have accepted offers from Tottenham for winger Mykhailo Mudryk and defender Tosin Adarabioyo, as well as a bid from Italian club Como for goalkeeper Robert Sanchez. The Image, credited to Getty Images, shows Mudryk in a Chelsea kit.

Spurs and Chelsea reshape squads

Spurs are keen to secure Mudryk, 25, and reunite him with his former manager Roberto De Zerbi, who coached him at Shakhtar Donetsk before his January 2023 move to Chelsea for an initial €70 million (£61 million). The Ukraine international has not featured competitively since November 2024, after a suspension for a meldonium finding, but has been eligible to play since July.

Tosin Adarabioyo, 28, will join Tottenham on a permanent deal, providing a replacement for Kevin Danso, who is set to head to Sunderland on an initial loan. The defender’s departure is part of Tottenham’s broader squad overhaul.

In Italy, Como have secured a season‑long loan for Robert Sanchez, 28, after his two costly errors in Chelsea’s opening Premier League match at Fulham. Chelsea have already brought in Argentine goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez from Aston Villa for £7.5 million as a replacement.

Meanwhile, uncertainty remains over Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernandez, who has attracted interest from Manchester City. No formal offer has emerged, and any exit would depend on Chelsea strengthening the squad and receiving a substantial fee, having previously valued him at £120 million.
