Six Jupiler Pro League coaches, from Euvrard to Bruno, face the brink

Six Jupiler Pro League coaches, from Vincent Euvrard to Vitor Bruno, are under threat this weekend as the eleventh round looms.
Standard’s Vincent Euvrard under immense pressure
Vincent Euvrard will face enormous pressure on Friday when Standard host promoted Beveren at Sclessin.
He told reporters on Saturday evening that his message still gets through and that he has everything under control.
Sporting director Marc Wilmots, who extended Euvrard’s contract to 2028 in May 2025, may consider dismissing him again.
CEO Giacomo Angelini could be the one to press the red button if the situation worsens.
Christophe Franken, Yves Taildeman, Vincent Blouard and Nathalie Dumont are named among those watching the pressure on Euvrard.
Standard have collected twelve points from thirty and have gone five league games without a win, putting their season in jeopardy.
Anderlecht’s Vitor Bruno and RAAL’s Edward Still also in the firing line
Vitor Bruno’s side beat Westerlo 4-1, restoring a little credit after a shaky spell.
His team must also deliver against Red Bull Salzburg and Club Bruges or risk his dismissal.
No search for a replacement has yet begun.
His credibility fell after the first international break and a dramatic match at Cercle, where he pledged to sign to win each match.
An elimination in the cup by Beerschot and a 4-0 loss at Ghent further weakened his position.
Interviews with CEO Kenneth Bornauw and owner Marc Coucke indicated that his days are counted.
A defeat to Salzburg may not be enough to fire him; the next match is too soon, although Jérémy Taravel could act as interim.
He does not feel strong support from Anderlecht’s owners.
He said, "My father taught me to settle things within the family."
Edward Still remains supported by RAAL management but the loss to Charleroi angered them.
General manager Toni Turi said, "Especially the way" after the Charleroi defeat.
The staff still trusts Still but warned that everyone must take responsibility.
Questions arise about the rapid shift from a solid win over Zulte Waregem to the Charleroi performance, focusing attention on Still.
Thorup also disappointed, adding to the pressure on the six coaches.
Michiel Jonckheere was sacked at Courtrai on 14 September, remaining the only coach dismissed in the Pro League this season until Monday when Frédéric De Meyer left Saint‑Trond.
The report, published under the Sports Football Jupiler Pro League banner, also contains the words Discover and Une, and even flags Mon as the day before the weekend pressure builds.
