Sevilla and Bologna push for West Ham's Magassa in summer market

Sevilla and Bologna have made concrete loan‑with‑obligation offers for 22‑year‑old French midfielder Soungoutou Magassa, who is on West Ham's transfer list after their relegation to the Championship. The player arrived from AS Monaco for €17 million last summer and logged 26 appearances, one goal and one assist in England (Angleterre).

Loan offers with purchase obligations

Since West Ham's drop to the Championship, Magassa has been left out of the match‑day squad and has not featured in any minute this season. The 22‑year‑old international Espoirs now looks for a way out of the club.

Earlier in the window, clubs such as Marseille, Lyon, Lille and Leipzig had shown interest, but only FC Sevilla (FC Séville) and Bologna (Bologne) progressed to submit formal proposals. Both clubs offered a loan that includes an obligation to buy, a structure that satisfies West Ham's financial aims.
