Serie Women kicks off with Como As AC Milan plot title race

AC Milan Women have received the full 2026/27 Serie A Women calendar this afternoon, confirming a 12‑team, 22‑round format that will crown the Italian Champions. The schedule shows Como 1907 promoted in place of Genoa, with the league set to start the last weekend of September and finish on the weekend of 15‑16 May 2027.

The first half of the season opens on 26‑27 September 2026 with Como 1907 hosting AC Milan. The Rossonere’s inaugural home match follows on 3‑4 October against Juventus, while the early big clashes include Roma at MD3 and a second meeting with Juventus at MD2. Additional fixtures feature Inter at MD6 and Napoli Women at MD7, establishing a packed opening stretch.

Pre‑season preparations are already outlined: a training camp in Belluno from 27‑31 July, and the Serie A Women’s Cup fixtures against Como Women on 22 August, 29‑30 August and Juventus on 5‑6 September. Potential cup semi‑finals and finals are pencilled in for December and March, adding further competitive milestones.

The second half of the campaign resumes on 30‑31 January 2027 with AC Milan hosting Como 1907, followed by a return clash with Juventus on 6‑7 February and a decisive derby against Inter on 20‑21 March. The calendar closes with Parma travelling to AC Milan on 15‑16 May 2027, the final matchday that will decide the season’s outcome.

In the Coppa Italia Women, AC Milan enter at the Round of 16, travelling to face the winner of the Arezzo v Parma tie scheduled for 19‑20 September. Subsequent rounds are slated for late January, February and March, with a potential final on 23 May 2027.

Overall, Suzanne Bakker’s Rossonere can now mark every key encounter – from the opening clash with Como to the season‑ending showdown with Parma – and plan their push for the Serie A Women title, the Cup and the Coppa Italia across a tightly packed schedule.
