Samuel Chukwueze credits Ruben Amorim for revived confidence at Milan
Samuel Chukwueze, the 27-year-old winger, has already featured in six matches and supplied two assists since returning to Serie A this summer, and he has revealed how new Milan coach Ruben Amorim has helped his career at the club in the first half of the campaign.
Ruben Amorim was appointed head coach of AC Milan in the summer, marking his first role in Italian football. Chukwueze rejoined the Serie A side after a season on loan at Fulham, seeking regular playing time.
Speaking about his role under Amorim, Chukwueze said, “I just have to keep doing my best for the team and repay the confidence the coach has in me by playing well and helping the team.” He added that being given full ninety‑minute matches shows the coach’s trust and motivates him to continue proving his worth.
Amorim’s arrival at Milan underscores the club’s ambition to rebuild under new leadership.
