Salah faces driving ban as he shines in Turkey

At the Şenol Güneş Stadium, Mohamed Salah sparked the celebration by scoring three goals in Trabzonspor's 4‑0 victory over champions Galatasaray, while the next day, English authorities imposed a six‑month driving ban on him.

The Egyptian, who left Liverpool this summer to sign for the Turkish club, continues to show his goal‑scoring instinct at 34. After a difficult start, he has regained the confidence that allowed him to net seven goals in six Süper Lig matches. His team, Trabzonspor, sits just three points behind the leaders.

Thumping win over the champions

On Saturday, Salah scored the three goals that sealed the 4‑0 win over Galatasaray, Süper Lig champions. The result highlights the striker's ability to influence decisive matches.

In total, the forward has amassed seven goals in six Turkish league fixtures. With that output, Trabzonspor keeps the pressure on the leader, three points behind.

Legal troubles in England

According to the BBC, an English court sentenced Salah to a driving disqualification after he was caught on 27 March traveling at 36 mph (58 km/h) in a 30 mph (48 km/h) zone in Wilmslow, Cheshire. The footballer did not tell the police who was driving his Rolls‑Royce at the time of the radar.

At a hearing held today at the Warrington Unified Court, the Egyptian player received a six‑month ban and a fine of £1 044, equivalent to €1 400. The judicial spokesperson said the conviction stemmed from the lack of information about the driver’s identity.

The offence occurred just three days after Salah announced his departure from Liverpool, after nine years at Anfield, after being dropped to the bench by then‑coach Arne Slot. That announcement marked the end of a legendary spell at the English club.
