Ronaldinho eyes 300th goal as Ravenna declares “Estou” in shape
Eleven years after his final professional appearance, 46‑year‑old Ronaldinho Gaúcho is set to step back onto the pitch with Ravenna, the Italian third‑division side, announcing his aim to net a 300th career goal while insisting he is “Estou em forma” despite an undecided debut date.
June unveiling as R10
Ravenna unveiled the Brazilian on a June event, branding him “R10” before an audience of club officials, partners and invited guests. The announcement highlighted his role in a broader project that mixes football, marketing and global expansion.
Under the agreement, Ronaldinho will serve an institutional and image function, taking part in promotional actions and international events. He will also be registered to compete in official matches, with the club expecting him to feature in at least one game.
He enjoys a close relationship with Ravenna president Ignazio Cipriani, an Italian entrepreneur linked to the Cipriani restaurant group. The club hopes his arrival will enlarge its international projection and strengthen its brand image.
In his remarks, Ronaldinho asked, “Vocês vão me ver jogar? Não sei, só o treinador sabe. Estou em forma, sonho em marcar meu 300º gol.” He added that he is happy to be with friends and will wait to see how the team performs.
Beyond the Italian appearance, Ronaldinho plans a world tour to bid farewell to the sport. The tour is intended to inspire and motivate other players for a spectacular season.
