Roma extend unbeaten run in Italiano after Torino defeat

Nesta segunda-feira, Roma kept their unbeaten run alive as they beat Torino 2‑0 in the fourth round of the Campeonato Italiano. The victory at the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino in Turim (ITA) sees the side maintain the top spot in the competition.

Goal details and match narrative

Gols came from Donyell Malen and Niccolò Pisilli. Malen opened the scoring at the 40th minute of the first half after a pass from Dybala was deflected by Mancini and, despite a save from Lucas Perri, he netted on the rebound. The Local crowd cheered each attack.

In second‑half injury time, Pisilli doubled the lead at the 48th minute when Mancini’s forward foray left the ball for the youngster, who curled a right‑footed shot into the far corner beyond Perri. The hosts, TORINO, could not respond and finished the match without a goal.

Table impact and upcoming fixtures

Com the result, ROMA moves to 12 points, two clear of second‑placed Como in the Série Italiana. The side remains unbeaten and sits at the summit of the Competição with a comfortable margin.

Torino, meanwhile, suffered their third defeat of the season and sit 14th with three points. Their next challenge arrives on 19 September when they travel to face Bologna at the Renato Dall’Ara.

Roma will turn their attention to the Europa League, hosting Inter Milan on 19 September at the Stadio Olimpico. Both clubs will look to build on their domestic form as the season progresses.
