Rochefort upset Lierse as Liège, Beerschot, Seraing and Eupen reach Croky Cup last 32

Four Challenger Pro League sides – RFC Liège, KAS Beerschot, RFC Seraing and KAS Eupen – secured places in the round of 32 of the Coupe de Belgique after Sunday’s Croky Cup fixtures, while surprise winners Rochefort eliminated Lierse.

Rochefort’s dramatic comeback

Playing away, Lierse led 0-2 at half‑time with goals from Samih El Touile in the 15th minute and Pierre Dwomoh in the 30th. Rochefort turned the tie around in the second half, with Jarno Libert scoring in the 74th and 82nd minutes and Mathieu Cornet adding a third in the 78th, to win 3-2.

Other Challenger results

Seraing travelled to the coast and thumped Knokke 5-2, thanks to a hat‑trick from Amine Messoussa (3rd, 16th, 57th) and goals by Anas Namri and Tom Lockman. Knokke’s Alan Mbega and Jef Colman scored late consolation goals.

Eupen edged Merelbeke 1-0 after Logan Delaurier‑Chaubet struck in the 71st minute. Joao Diego Alves Rodrigues, known as “Kikas”, celebrated the win, having featured in the match.

Beerschot and Lierse confront amateur opposition in Belgium's Cup

RFC Liège recorded a 4-1 victory over Wellen, with goals from Kylian Hazard, Jonathan D’Ostilio, Benoit Bruggeman and Afonso N’Salambi. Daniel Okoka Saka reduced the deficit in the 88th minute.

Beerschot endured an intense encounter at Schaerbeek, trailing 0-2 after goals from Siviwe Magidigidi and Dennis Gyamfi. Schaerbeek briefly led 3-4, but Beerschot restored parity with strikes from Bas Van den Eyden, Glenn Claes and a late equaliser by Lukas Van Eenoo in the 90th minute.

The sixth round of the Coupe de Belgique concluded on Sunday, with the draw for the round of 32 scheduled for Monday at 16:30. The next fixtures are set for the weekend of 16, 17 and 18 October.
