Ricardo Silva Appointed Head Coach of Lusitânia de Lourosa

Ricardo Silva was officially appointed head coach of Lusitânia de Lourosa on Thursday. The 43‑year‑old Portuguese will lead the club in the II Liga for the 2026/27 season. Lusitânia announced the appointment on its official social channels.

Silva coached UD Oliveirense in the current campaign. He recorded two victories in 11 matches. The club's results were insufficient to avoid relegation to Liga 3.

Earlier in his career, Silva held coaching roles at Paços de Ferreira, AD Fafe and Länk Vilaverdense. His experience spans several tiers of Portuguese football.

Lusitânia expects Silva to drive a new cycle with ambition and demand. The club highlighted its responsibility to represent the city of Lourosa.
