Real Madrid wants to secure Bellingham’s contract by 2024

Real Madrid is close to extending the contract with the English superstar Jude Bellingham. The deal is expected to be completed later this year, with the terms of the original six‑year contract to be improved, thereby strengthening the long‑term commitment to the Spanish record champion.

Bellingham's record so far at Real

Bellingham has been playing for Real Madrid for three years, after the Royals signed him from Borussia Dortmund for €127 million. In Madrid he has so far made 148 appearances, scored 49 goals and provided 36 assists, while at BVB he completed 132 games with 24 goals and 25 assists.

When he moved, the 23‑year‑old Jude Bellingham signed a contract until 2029, which is now halfway expired. Transfer expert Matteo Moretto talks about an extension of one to two years, while Nicolò Schira already sets the end of the new contract at 2032.

An extension to 2032 would place him among the longest‑serving players at Real, behind Yan Diomande, whose contract runs until 2033, as well as Marc Cucurella and Vinícius Júnior, who are also tied until 2032.

In the next three weeks, Bellingham has four international matches with the English national team. Under coach Thomas Tuchel he will face World Cup champions Spain, Croatia and twice the Czech Republic.

The deal is expected to be completed later this year and could be finalized in the coming weeks.
