On Tuesday, the outlet released a four‑minute clip in which it condemns the behaviour of the Colchoneros, who won the derby 2‑1. The video highlights the lack of sanctions and accuses Atlético’s players of disrespect. It aims to shine a light on what Real Madrid TV sees as hypocrisy.

"If they are the ones being wronged, they no longer show as much respect," the voice‑over says. "Memory is short: they demand respect from referees, but only sometimes. Now, if they are not satisfied with what they see, they file complaints."

The video also quotes Gregorio Manzano, former Atlético coach now tasked with appointing referees, to underline the role of management. Diego Simeone’s attitude is singled out, the outlet accusing him of not respecting the officials.

"Here, respect is scarce, we hear more insults directed at referees," Real Madrid TV states. "We demand respect, but we post tweets when events don’t suit us. Respect flies away as soon as things go wrong."
