Real Madrid's Mbappé still with Nike while awaiting the new sponsor
Real Madrid faces the derby against Atletico with Kylian Mbappé, but the sponsor change is not yet operational on the pitch: the Frenchman still wears the Nike Mercurial Superfly 11, while the Nike logo is covered awaiting the new sponsor.

The switch from Nike to On cannot yet be finalized on the playing field, so the American brand remains hidden. The end of the previous partnership required covering the Nike logo during the match.
Two days after the agreement with On, Mbappé played the derby, which Real Madrid lost 2-1 to Atletico, still wearing the Nike Mercurial Superfly 11. On Saturday, during training, the Frenchman tried the new boots made by On, still in prototype stage.
Before embarking on the new adventure, Mbappé dedicated a long message to the brand that has accompanied him since childhood: “I was 7 years old when this story began. At that age, I had many dreams.” He also recalls “20 years” of collaboration, from the youngster from Bondy to the World Cup and the French national team.
The relationship with On goes beyond simple sponsorship: Mbappé has become a shareholder of the company, which thus enters the world of football. “What attracted me was the possibility of building together something completely new, which will help shape the football of tomorrow,” the 27‑year‑old explained.
On the field, Mbappé has scored eight goals in the first eight official matches of the season, before heading to France for Nations League commitments.
