Real Madrid move to boost Bellingham’s wages as his value soars

Jude Bellingham is poised to sign a lucrative new contract with Real Madrid, even though his current deal runs until June 2029. The proposed terms could extend his stay to 2030 or 2031 and are expected to lift his €20.83 million gross salary much closer to the €31.25 million earned by the club’s other marquee stars.

Why Real Madrid want to lock him down

Matteo Moretto told Radio ’s ‘La Pizarra’ that Bellingham is the next major player Real Madrid intend to tie down. The club is not reacting to any immediate contract pressure, but instead wants his terms to reflect his growing importance to their long‑term project. A new agreement could keep him at the Bernabeu until either 2030 or 2031.

At present Bellingham earns roughly €20.83 million gross per season, considerably less than the €31.25 million gross earned by Vinicius Junior and Kylian Mbappe. Vinicius recently extended his contract until 2032, while Mbappe is understood to sit in the same salary bracket as the Brazilian. Raising Bellingham’s wages would bring him significantly closer to that level.

Real Madrid have built their future around the trio of Bellingham, Vinicius and Mbappe, and securing long‑term deals for all three would provide stability for the club’s ambitions. The proposed renewal therefore underlines how quickly the English midfielder’s status has risen since arriving in Spain. The England international arrived from Borussia Dortmund in 2023 and swiftly became one of Los Blancos’ key figures.
