Real Madrid intensify chase as Arsenal eye Turkish winger Kenan Yildiz

Real Madrid are considering a move for Juventus attacker Kenan Yildiz, a 21‑year‑old Turkish international, as they prepare to compete with Arsenal for his signature. Yildiz, who logged 11 goals and 10 assists last season, remains under contract at Juventus until 2030.

Real Madrid's renewed pursuit

According to reports from Spain, the Spanish giants are impressed by Yildiz's development and are closely monitoring his situation at Juventus. They could explore a transfer in the upcoming window, especially once he returns from a foot injury.

Real Madrid first enquired in the winter of 2025 under Xabi Alonso, but the interest cooled after Vinícius Júnior’s contract was resolved and José Mourinho took over. Nevertheless, the club’s willingness to spend remains evident after a €140m outlay on Leipzig starlet Diomande.

Arsenal's competing bid and Juventus stance

Juventus have valued Yildiz at €100m for the better part of a year and have built a new wage structure around him, offering €7m a year to 2030 plus a €6m signing bonus.

Arsenal have shown strong interest, having explored a signing during the summer window and previously spending €40m on left‑sided attacker Christos Tzolis. The Gunners remain short on the left and could see Yildiz as a quality solution.

The renewed interest from Real Madrid makes any potential deal more complicated for Arsenal, adding a major European rival to the negotiation.

Champions League qualification could shift the balance; missing the top four may prompt Juventus to sell, especially with the arrival of Kerim Alajbegovic on a €35m summer deal who plays a similar role.

Yildiz is currently out injured but is expected to be back in action in November, giving both suitors an opportunity to assess his form and fitness before committing to a serious move.
