Raphinha signs new Barcelona deal lasting to June 2030

Brazilian attacker Raphinha has agreed a new contract with Barcelona, extending his stay at the Catalan club for four more seasons until June 2030, with the paperwork expected to be signed in the coming days after negotiations in recent weeks.

Both parties have already finalised all the terms of the new deal, and Barcelona is now preparing the necessary documentation to complete the process. The club expects Raphinha to put pen to paper within the next few days.

“The renewal of Raphinha is well advanced. I can say publicly we agreed between yesterday and today on Raphinha’s renewal for a few more years. I believe Rapha will be with us for the next four years,” said Deco, football director of Barcelona.

Deco confirmed that the agreement is essentially sealed and will be formalised shortly.

Impact on Barcelona's attack

The decision continues the Brazilian’s trajectory in Spanish football and underlines the club’s intention to keep him as a key element of the squad for the coming seasons. It also avoids a significant reshuffle in the offensive department.
