Raphinha leads the race for La Liga MVP after scoring seven goals in September

Raphinha, captain of Barcelona, has been nominated again for La Liga's Player of the Month (MVP) award after scoring seven goals in the competition during September. The 29‑year‑old striker had already won the award in August and is once again among the candidates.

The announcement, signed by Pere Punti and Jordi Cardero, highlights that the Brazilian leads the statistics with seven goals and two assists, surpassing the other nominees. The other players on the list are Sergio Camello, Jonathan David, Kylian Mbappé and Fer Niño.

Camello has four goals and one assist, David records three goals and one assist, Mbappé adds three goals and two assists, while Fer Niño reaches four goals with no assists. The voting is open and fans will choose the MVP.

In the best manager category, Hansi Flick is nominated again after Quique Sánchez Flores won the first month. The other managers in contention are Diego Simeone and Manuel Pellegrini.

Additionally, Barcelona has Gabriel Sans Koundé, appointed captain by Zidane, and other players such as João Cancelo, Budimir and Lucas Boyé competing for the best goal of the month award.
