Rangers target wing depth with South Korean signing Kim Min‑su

Rangers have turned to South Korean winger Kim Min‑su to fill a shortage on the flanks, signing him from Girona on a four‑year deal after a failed pursuit of PSV’s Couhaib Driouech and a rejected £7.5 million bid for Amario Cozier‑Duberry.

The 20‑year‑old South Korean signed a four‑year contract with an option for a further year, becoming Rangers&#x27 12th signing of the summer for an undisclosed fee. The announcement referenced the Image source, Getty ImagesImage caption that highlighted his loan spell.

Kim was on loan at second‑tier Andorra last season, where he netted six times in 40 games and provided four assists. He also recorded 19 goals in 84 appearances for Girona B and made eight senior appearances before Girona’s relegation from La Liga.

At Ibrox, Kim joins fellow wingers Djeidi Gassama, Findlay Curtis and Ross McCausland, alongside recent recruit Daisuke Yokota. Manager Derek McInnes said, "We are delighted to welcome Min‑su to Rangers. Strengthening our options in the forward areas has been a real target and focus for us throughout this window and we believe he will add another exciting dimension to the squad."

Kim’s arrival adds depth as Rangers continue to chase new wingers, with the club having previously been poised to buy PSV’s Couhaib Driouech before a minor injury halted that move. The South Korean will now compete for playing time at Ibrox, aiming to translate his technical ability and energy into first‑team impact.
