Pulisic praises Amorim and vows to stay at Milan despite contract talks
Christian Pulisic said on Thursday that he enjoys an excellent relationship with manager Rúben Amorim and has expressed a clear desire to keep playing for Milan. The American winger made the comments beside fans at a club‑organised event.
Contract situation
Pulisic, who is among the ten highest‑paid players at the club, is contracted until next year. Milan’s hierarchy is already looking at extending his deal to 2031, noting that the current agreement contains an optional extra season.
Speaking to the media, the 28‑year‑old added, “I am very happy at Milan. I am not focused on the details of my contract renewal, but I want to continue in Milan.”
He also highlighted the harmony with Amorim, saying the squad has been working “very united as a team, which was evident in the last match,” and that his relationship with the coach is “very good and positive.”
The comments were accompanied by a photo credit reading “Foto: ANSA / Ansa – Brasil,” confirming the source of the images.
Pulisic missed part of the early season because of physical problems, but he returned to feature in the last two games and feels his fitness is improving.
He concluded, “It was a bit strange at the start of the season. I always want to play, and after the injury I feel good and hope to get more minutes.”
