PSV stalls on free‑agent striker Boadu as talks remain pending

Vandaag at 20:35, PSV confirmed it has postponed any final decision on the future of 25‑year‑old striker Myron Boadu, the Eindhovens Dagblad reported, noting that while the Eindhoven club is interested, formal negotiations have not yet begun.

The club had the option to extend Boadu’s contract by one year but chose not to, leaving the Dutch forward free‑transfer; nevertheless he continues to train with the Eindhovenaren.

PSV still expresses interest in signing him permanently, but the two parties have not yet sat down at a table for a possible longer stay, and no formal talks have taken place.

PSV originally secured Boadu from French side AS Monaco in the summer of 2025 for just under one million euros.

Since joining PSV, Boadu has made seventeen appearances and scored three goals for the club.

His free‑transfer status means a move to another club could materialise quickly if the right offer arrives.

Before PSV, the striker featured for AZ, AS Monaco, VfL Bochum and FC Twente, outlining a varied career across the Netherlands, France, Germany and back.

The regional newspaper added that “no one will find it strange if both parties eventually extend their cooperation for another season, although some hurdles remain,” suggesting a resolution may still be months away.

The report also contains the token Boadu', reflecting the original formatting of the article. No further details were provided.
