PSV bench Driouech as Spanish Celta de Vigo deal looms

Couhaib Driouech was omitted from PSV Eindhoven’s match‑day squad for today’s 14:30 clash with FC Groningen, as the Dutch champions have reached a principle agreement with Spanish side Celta de Vigo for the speedy forward’s transfer. The deal is expected to be finalised in the coming weeks.

Ahead of the pending move, PSV have deliberately left Driouech out of the line‑up against FC Groningen, signalling the club’s intention to complete the transfer without disruption.

The agreement, reached on principal terms, links the forward with the Spaanse Celta de Vigo, a club competing in Spain’s top flight.

PSV, the Eredivisie champions, have not disclosed financial details, but the swift striker’s departure opens a slot in their attacking options.
