Premier League watches Agoumé: Siviglia shines and Inter still hopes

The former Inter midfielder Lucien Agoumé is exploding in Spain, while the Premier League is sending its scouts to Sevilla, where his performances are attracting interest from clubs across Europe.

A new momentum for Sevilla

Sevilla's 2026/2027 season has started with a different approach compared to the end of 2025/2026, gathering 13 points and sitting two places away from the Champions spots, currently occupied by Real Madrid. The performances have been convincing and entertaining, despite some mistakes.

In Luis Garcia's 4‑2‑3‑1, Agoumé has become an indispensable central hub, finding increasing space and displaying his full potential, so much that the market bells are ringing.

The youngster has collected seven appearances out of seven games, all as a starter and never leaving the field, with an tireless pace from the first to the last minute, a quality that has attracted the attention of scouts and observers from across Europe.

The strongest bells, however, come from the Premier League, where clubs see Agoumé as a significant potential profit for the rojiblanco club.

Inter, an interested observer, had invested €4.5 million in 2019 to acquire him from Socheaux and sold him in the summer of 2024 for €8 million to Sevilla, retaining a percentage on the future transfer between 10 percent and 15 percent.

With a contract expiring on 30 June 2028, the next two transfer windows will be the last for Inter to cash in significant sums from Agoumé's sale.
