On Saturday evening Porto closed the league match with a clear 4‑0 win over Estoril Praia.
At the end of the match, Francesco Farioli spoke to the local press, already hinting at the challenge against Napoli.
The coach noted that, looking at the last two games, it was fantastic to be able to reintegrate everyone into the squad.
Some players had the opportunity to play their first minutes.
Farioli reiterated his firm confidence in the strength of the group and highlighted the importance of players coming off the bench.
Before the international break, Porto still has important matches ahead, starting with the one against Napoli, crucial for securing the first points in the Champions League.
The coach added that the team is happy with the result and now wants to look ahead to prepare for the match against Napoli.
He acknowledged that there are differences in the opponents and their style of play, and that his own approach will also change.
Farioli admitted that he would like to play in the final 25 metres with a high level of control and the ability to create chances, but that is not always possible.
The coach said he has not yet had time to analyse Napoli in detail, as reported on Saturday, October 31.
He added that he will start studying them tomorrow to best prepare the players.
Finally, Farioli concluded that Porto must start climbing the Champions League mountain.
