Pizzi: Inter dominate Serie A, Milan and Juventus out of sight
The former footballer Fausto Pizzi said, in a radio interview after Inter's defeat at the Bernabeu against Real Madrid, that the Nerazzurri team is “clearly ahead” in Serie A and that Milan and Juventus are not even considered in the title race.
Analysis of the performance in Madrid
Pizzi evaluated the Nerazzurri's performance in Madrid, describing it as great, but he emphasized that the mistakes were too big to not affect the result. According to him, the defeat was partly caused by those errors.
He added that if Real had finished the match 3‑0, the readings on the performance would have changed radically. He therefore believes that the errors weighed heavily.
Vieri launches Pio Esposito, national record, says Milan and Juventus aren't title contenders
Regarding the league, Pizzi states that Inter is “clearly superior” to the other Italian teams. The margin of advantage, in his view, is evident compared to all opponents.
He believes that Roma, Napoli and, to a lesser extent, Como can still pose some difficulty. In contrast, Milan and Juventus do not even make his list of contenders.
Pizzi warns that awareness of the results must not turn into presumption. Only by maintaining humility can the team consolidate the advantage.
