Pedro Polo faces about a month out after hamstring injury
At the Tottenham Hotspur training ground, a medical team examined centre‑back Pedro Polo, his hamstring bruised and bandaged, as the club prepared for the next Premier League fixtures. The Spanish international is expected to miss around one month of action, the sports outlet Athletic reported on the 23rd.
Polo had started the Aston Villa match on the 19th, but was forced off in the 19th minute. The injury ruled him out of Spain’s September‑October international window and led to his removal from the squad on the same day.
Consequently, he is unlikely to feature against Manchester United on 10 October or Coventry on the 19th, with a tentative return slated for the Chelsea game on the 24th. Images = Getty
