Paris Saint-Germain secure Ferran Torres with €50m deal to 2031

Ferran Torres has completed a move from Barcelona to Paris Saint-Germain, signing a contract that runs until 2031 after a reported €50 million transfer fee. The 26‑year‑old forward will wear the No 9 shirt for the French champions, joining a squad that holds the Champions League title.

Neither club disclosed the financial terms, but reports confirm the €50 million figure. Torres’ deal runs for five years, securing his services until the summer of 2031 and giving PSG a long‑term attacking option.

International pedigree and Barcelona record

The transfer reunites Torres with former Spain coach Luis Enrique, now manager of PSG, who praised the forward’s versatility across the front line. Torres arrives after scoring the decisive extra‑time goal in the World Cup final against Argentina and helping Spain win the 2024 European Championship.

At Barcelona, Torres recorded 21 goals and three assists in 49 appearances across all competitions during the 2025‑26 season, including 16 league goals that placed him among the top scorers in La Liga. His Barcelona contract was set to expire in June 2027, allowing the club to recoup a substantial portion of its original investment.
