Paris Saint-Germain eye €55 million swoop on Abdessamad Ezzalzouli

Paris Saint‑Germain are reportedly preparing a winter bid for 24‑year‑old Moroccan winger Abdessamad Ezzalzouli, currently of Betis Séville, to fill the prolonged void left by Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. The French side see the player as a potential solution for the second half of the season.

Potential winter signing

To compensate for Kvaratskhelia’s extended absence, PSG are said to be studying the profile of the Real Betis winger. Club officials have identified him as a candidate for a January move.

According to Sport, no formal negotiation has been announced, but the Moroccan international is among the profiles examined by Paris directors. The interest remains at the scouting stage.

Ezzalzouli, 24, is a former FC Barcelona youth product who has grown in importance at the Andalusian side. His performances this season have increased his standing within the Betis squad.

His pace and ability to cut in from the left flank match the offensive profile Paris Saint‑Germain may seek for the latter part of the campaign. The attributes align with the club’s tactical needs.

Betis hold the player under a contract that runs until 2029 and value him at roughly €55 million, with a release clause set at €60 million. Barcelona retain 20 percent of his economic rights, adding complexity to any winter deal.

These contractual factors could complicate a potential January transfer, meaning any move would require careful negotiation between the clubs.
