Pac passes away as police audio confirms tragic death

All Elite Wrestling star Benjamin Satterley, known as Pac, was pronounced dead in Des Plaines, Illinois, on Sunday afternoon after police were called to a car park at around 4 pm. The 40‑year‑old was found passed out in a vehicle and could not be revived.

Police audio recorded at the scene captured officers stating, “This is going to be a slumper… we can’t confirm breathing at this time.” A witness added, “There was an ambulance, police and a fire truck, all outside.” The audio, released by authorities, confirms the grim discovery at the CAVA restaurant car park.

The Cook County Medical Examiner’s office later said there are “no indications of foul play and the circumstances surrounding the death are not considered suspicious.” An initial autopsy was performed, but additional testing is required to determine the exact cause of death.

Pac had been in Chicago on Saturday night for his AEW match against Andrade at the NOW Arena, where he lost the contest. He was away from his own bout when he later attended the main‑event showdown between Jon Moxley and Will Ospreay.
