OL Mercato targets Endrick's return amid strong competition

OL's transfer market is focused on the possible return of Endrick in January, but the already strong competition threatens the acquisition of the Real Madrid striker, whose playing time remains limited under José Mourinho, after a successful loan at Lyon where he scored eight goals and provided eight assists.

A successful loan but limited playing time

After a particularly successful loan at Lyon during the second half of the 2025‑2026 season, the young Brazilian still hasn't found a regular place at Real Madrid. His playing time there remains very limited, fueling rumors of a new move in January.

Endrick still hasn't managed to establish himself in José Mourinho's plans. Since his return, he has only played a few minutes with the Merengues, after missing the start of the season due to an injury.

OL wants to take advantage of this situation to bring back the player who impressed during his spell in the Rhône. The Rhône club believes that familiarity with the system and regained confidence could speed up the return.

Fierce European competition

But the competition is already very strong. Aston Villa and Roma are cited among the most serious contenders, while AC Milan, Arsenal and Manchester United also show interest in the Real Madrid striker.

A post by Ekrem Konur mentions a battle between these major European clubs, but does not mention Olympique Lyonnais, which discourages the club. Other sources, however, claim that OL is still considering Endrick's return.

In 21 matches with Lyon, Endrick scored eight goals and provided eight assists, reviving his career after a difficult spell in Madrid. These figures strengthen the Rhône club's strong argument.

If the transfer materialises in January, OL will have to face a tougher battle than last year, with Roma and Aston Villa seen as the main rivals. The situation therefore remains uncertain, but the club remains hopeful of another thunderbolt.
