OL Bojan Zekovic faces disciplinary dismissal amid academy shake‑up

Olympique Lyonnais have launched Une procédure, a disciplinary dismissal process against 16‑year‑old French striker Bojan Zekovic, a top prospect of their academy, after reports from L’Équipe and confirmed the move on Wednesday. The 1.87‑metre forward, who has featured for the club’s U17 and U19 sides, is now set to leave the Rhone‑based club.

At 16, Zekovic is regarded as one of the biggest potentials of his generation, having already played two matches with the U19 team at the end of last season after starting the campaign with the U17s.

In the 2026‑2027 season he made only two appearances for the U19 side, scoring a goal against Metz in early September.

He earned his first France U17 call‑up on 6 October, featuring in a 5‑1 defeat to the Netherlands.

L’Équipe suggested he could revive his prospects at AS Monaco, although the club has denied any contact following the impending dismissal.
