Nico Paz dazzles Como, Ciro Messi's honor in the jersey

On Sunday evening, Como once again surprised in the Champions League, beating Manchester United 4-1 thanks to Nico Paz's brace, who also provided an assist; after the match the young Argentinian commented on the photo of Ciro Messi in the club's shirt.

Paz's decisive role

The Argentinian midfielder, born in 2004, was one of the great drivers of the team led by Cesc Fàbregas, delivering a brace and an assist that sent the Red Devils crashing down.

After the final whistle, Paz went to the microphone and, a few minutes after the result, commented on the photo of Ciro Messi in Como's shirt. “It is an honour that the son of the greatest player in history wears our shirt,” he said, adding: “It means we are doing things right.”

The photo, posted in recent days by Antonela Roccuzzo, Lionel Messi's wife, showed little Ciro wearing the Como shirt and went viral, confirming the link between the Messi family and the Lombard club. The relationship stems from the friendship between Messi and Fàbregas, teammates from their Barcelona days.

Fàbregas clarified that the shirt was not Paz's, but a personal one with the number 4, given to the Messi family. “It is a gesture of friendship that reflects on the pitch,” the Spanish coach commented.

The European success confirms Como's international growth, now able to attract attention even outside Italy. The team continues to improve day by day, aiming to consolidate its role in the Champions League.
