Napoli say McTominay returns to football after medical clearance
Napoli announced on Wednesday that Scottish midfielder Scott McTominay has been cleared medically and is fit to return to playing football after a cardiac ablation performed on September 8.

On September 8, McTominay underwent an ablation to correct a mild and benign arrhythmia at Manchester's Spire Hospital. After additional tests, doctors ruled that the 29-year-old player can return to competition.
Availability for the next match
The club at the Maradona Stadium confirmed that McTominay trained with the squad and is available to manager Massimiliano Allegri for Saturday's match against Frosinone, the sixth round of Serie A.
