Napoli rejects loan bids, Gabriel Jesus’s spot still uncertain
Napoli has turned down two loan offers for striker Noa Lang, meaning a place in the squad for incoming forward Gabriel Jesus remains unfilled. The bids came from Galatasaray and Atalanta, according to the Corriere dello Sport, and were rejected by Napoli official Secco.
Lucca is not the player expected to depart; reports suggest he has good chances of staying at Napoli for the time being. The club’s focus is instead on finding a permanent solution for Lang.
Lang was bought last summer from PSV for a total package of around thirty million euros, including base fee and bonuses. The potential transfer price is cited as roughly twenty‑five million euros, but Napoli insists on a full‑time sale, not a loan, and has rejected the loan proposals from Galatasaray and Atalanta.
Going forward, Napoli will continue to search for a buyer willing to meet the club’s conditions, while the arrival of Gabriel Jesus remains pending and Lucca is expected to stay in the squad.
