Napoli eye Jackson while offloading Lang and Ngonge
Journalist Alfredo Pedullà told that Il Napoli have received a formal proposal for striker Nicolas Jackson, while the club is preparing departures for winger Noa Lang and forward Ngonge, with talks already underway on loan deals. The move follows De Laurentiis’ aim to clear seven to eight yellow cards and comes after Galatasaray’s interest in Martinelli was halted.
Outgoing players and loan strategies
Pedullà said Napoli would not want to loan Noa Lang despite external interest.
He added that Galatasaray’s initial targets have been blocked because Martinelli officially announced he does not wish to move.
The report appeared in the Stampa A− A+ feed, confirming the information.
Additional transfer maneuvers and the Jackson proposal
Discussions have also focused on forward Ngonge, who is reportedly close to a move to Monza.
Napoli have given the green light for a loan that would include an option to purchase, allowing the player to gain regular minutes.
Both clubs are said to be negotiating the terms.
If an option to make the deal obligatory is added, the two societies would finalize the arrangement together.
Pedull noted that such structures are common when clubs can only execute loan deals.
Another potential departure is defender Obaretin, a structured and explosive player previously linked with Genoa.
Napoli held him back because they had not secured the defender who arrived tonight, and Obaretin had originally been taken by Genoa before Napoli decided to keep him, while Buongiorno remains out with injury.
Injuries to Buongiorno and Beukema, along with several muscular problems, have limited defensive options.
Sturm Graz has also been mentioned as a possible destination for an outgoing transfer.
The club sees this as an operation Napoli can execute to balance the squad.
According to De Laurentiis, the objective is to free seven to eight yellow cards from the roster.
The challenge remains that Napoli can only conduct loan moves at this stage.
A year ago, Napoli received a proposal for striker Nicolas Jackson, a marketable forward.
At that time, discussions also involved Gabriel Jesus, who is currently sidelined.
Pedullà reiterated that the club must complete outgoing transfers before revisiting the Jackson offer.
Al Napoli has recorded this proposal and is waiting for clearances.
