Clement departs Sparta Rotterdam transfer-free

Pelle Clement will leave Sparta Rotterdam as his contract expires. The club confirmed no new deal will be offered to the 30-year-old midfielder.

Clement, who played 67 matches for Sparta Rotterdam, finishes his spell at Het Kasteel. His departure follows earlier exits of Jeroen Zoet and Oussama El Azzouzi.

Sparta Rotterdam now have 18 players under contract for next season. The club has not named replacements for departing players.

Clement’s free-agent status makes him available to any club immediately. No fee will be required for his registration.

Sparta Rotterdam finished 11th in the Eredivisie last season. Their summer transfer activity includes departures and arrivals yet to be finalized.
