Musiala’s second faint raises health concerns for Bayern Munich

German forward Jamal Musiala, 23, of Bayern Munich, fainted on the pitch again during Tuesday’s friendly against Heidenheim, marking a second collapse in as many days. The incident occurred in the second half and prompted immediate medical attention by the club’s medical staff who quickly assessed his condition.

He has been diagnosed with temporary absence seizures. Doctors said the condition is caused by a neurological dysfunction but is easily treatable.

Musiala reassures fans on social media

Musiala used his social‑media accounts to calm supporters. He explained that the recent collapses were linked to the diagnosed condition and thanked fans for their messages.

The 23‑year‑old experienced a comparable fainting episode on Saturday. That incident occurred during a preparatory match against RB Leipzig.

He told fans, “I am fine.” He also expressed gratitude for the support he received.

In his full statement Musiala said the seizures are brief and easily treatable. He emphasized that there is no further risk to his health and that he is receiving excellent medical care. He added that he wishes to keep the matter private while continuing to chase victories and titles with his team.

Musiala asked supporters to understand his situation and respect his wish for privacy. He reiterated his commitment to living a normal life and pursuing his passion for football.
