Mourinho, the anti‑Barça who seeks Super Barça's kryptonite

On a London night, the author reflects on José Mourinho, describing him as a character who, although not the antichrist, could embody those forces of evil, criticism and conspiracy; everything is fair game to win, even if he does not always emerge victorious.

Madrid of Florentino and the Mbappé Dream

Madrid of Florentino promised happy moments by signing the galactic Mbappé, but soon it ran into the Barça led by Flick and the ‘Golden Boys’. Facing that threat, the White House sought the kryptonite capable of ending a Super Barça.

The first arrival of Mourinho aimed to ruin the opulence of the Guardiola era. The Portuguese, fueled by resentment, never forgave that it was Santpedor and not him who took the culé bench, and he even put his finger in the eye of the late Tito Vilanova.

Upon arriving home, his friends invited him to watch a documentary about Mourinho on Netflix, and he could only admire the character. He described him as a beloved enemy, comparable to Darth Vader for Luke Skywalker, and concluded that they need each other mutually.
