Mourinho's return brings no calm whatsoever to Real Madrid

José Mourinho has returned as head coach of Real Madrid, but his arrival has not dispelled the unrest within the club. Spanish media report lingering tensions among some players, while a busy October lies ahead for the club. Journalist Antón Meana, during El Larguero, said: “The only problem is that I still see this dressing room as cold as five months ago.”

According to the same Spanish media, relations between Xabi Alonso and Álvaro Arbeloa are already strained. A conflict between two players is said to have even escalated into a melee, Meana added. These internal problems continue to undermine the atmosphere in the dressing room.

Kylian Mbappé, who left the French national team due to an injury, already joined Real Madrid’s training group on Wednesday. Mourinho could possibly field the French star right from the kickoff against Villarreal. However, some club members fear that Mbappé is still not sufficiently familiar with the internal workings and the expectations that come with his status.

Genk strengthens youth

KRC Genk is working hard on the future. With Shakhmurat Dauletov they have already secured a new gem. The player signed a three‑year contract and will join Jong Genk. The club hopes he will quickly break into the A‑team.

Whether Dauletov will soon get a role in the first team remains an open question, but the youth academy thus receives a new gem.

Beerschot aims for promotion

Beerschot wants to be in the Challenger Pro League this season and, if possible, force promotion to the Jupiler Pro League. For this goal they rely on Marco Weymans, who has been out of action for a long time.

The club continues to believe in Weymans and gives him a chance to prepare calmly for the future. His return is seen as a step towards a stronger squad.

With the upcoming busy October for Real Madrid and the ambitions of both Genk and Beerschot, the transfer and internal situation remains under the watch of fans and analysts.
