Mislintat sees Klopp as the key against the German football crisis

While German football is in a crisis according to Sven Mislintat, he sees Jürgen Klopp as the perfect remedy; the German coach made his debut as national team manager on Thursday against the Netherlands and immediately received praise for his proven approach and clear 4‑3‑3 format.

Mislintat’s arguments for Klopp

Mislintat worked for many years as head of scouting at Borussia Dortmund, where he worked closely with Klopp when he was the coach. ‘What Vincent Kompany does at Bayern is what Klopp has always managed to achieve. It is a combination of substance and social intelligence. Both have a protective instinct for their teams and a close bond with their players,’ said Mislintat. He believes that Germany will once again make its mark at the top of the world.
