Milan target Owen Emeka: €15 million clause in the Serie B battle

The Milan scouts have confirmed interest in Owen Emeka, a 2009-born attacking winger owned by Granada, with a release clause set at €15 million. Milan, together with Real Madrid and Arsenal, is considering a better offer to secure the young talent.

Player profile

Emeka, born in Malaga to Nigerian parents, is a product of Granada's youth academy. In the current season he has made six appearances in the Segunda División and scored his first professional goal against Albacete on September 12, becoming the youngest scorer in the club's history at 17 years, 4 months and 23 days.

Contractual conditions

The player recently signed a contract extension until June 2029, with the release clause originally set at €2 million. After the renewal, the new clause was raised to €15 million, making it harder for rival clubs to snatch the purchase right.

Interest from European clubs

Besides Milan, Real Madrid has shown interest, but the negotiations have not yet produced an agreement. Arsenal, Newcastle and Bayer Leverkusen have also started monitoring the young winger, indicating a growing competition for his acquisition.

Milan, which is already looking in January for opportunities to strengthen the attacking line, sees Emeka as an ideal profile for its 4‑3‑5 formation, thanks to his left foot and ability to operate on the right flank.

The Italian club has already scouted other talents, including Brazilian striker Endrick, but the current priority remains the assessment of Emeka, considered one of the most promising in the Under‑17 category.

The coming weeks will be decisive: if Milan submits an offer above the clause, it can secure the player before Arsenal or Real Madrid raise a higher proposal.
