Michael Olise guides Bayern into the Champions League, United prevails

Michael Olise scored a brace in Bayern Munich's 5‑0 triumph over Bodø/Glimt, securing the club's qualification for the Champions League. The same day, Manchester United dominated Sabah 4‑0, while Côme contributed to his team's historic first Champions League win, 4‑1 against Leipzig.

Bayern Munich start in style

The Bayern Munich players never feared losing, the Norwegians did not trouble Manuel Neuer, but the score was still level at halftime. Bodø/Glimt created a few chances, including a shot from Luis Diaz in the fifth minute, but the goalkeeper held firm. Bayern finally opened the scoring in the 47th minute thanks to Jamal Musiala, who took advantage of a crossed ball to beat the keeper.

Musiala then scored Bayern's 900th goal in the European Cup in the 47th minute, followed by a header from Harry Kane in the 62nd minute. Alphonso Davies added a superb half‑volley in the 77th minute, then Michael Olise sealed the 4‑0 in the 83rd minute before retrieving the ball for the fifth goal in the 90+2 minute. Odin Bjortuft was sent off in the 87th minute, leaving the Norwegians with two men.

Côme records a historic first in C1

Côme celebrated his first appearance in the Champions League by contributing to his team's 4‑1 victory over Leipzig. Martin Baturina opened the scoring in the 15th minute, followed by Anastasios Douvikas doubling the lead in the 38th minute. Assane Diao, found by Nico Paz, made it 3‑0 in the 54th minute, before 19‑year‑old Andrija Maksimovic reduced the gap to 3‑1 in the 58th minute.

The match ended with the fourth goal, scored by Argentinian Maximo Perrone in stoppage time (90+1), sealing Côme's first win in the C1.

Manchester United win effortlessly

Manchester United enjoyed a quiet evening against the newcomers of Sabah, winning 4‑0. Matheus Cunha opened the scoring in the 27th minute from a cross by Patrick Dorgu, then Bruno Fernandes doubled the lead in the 42nd minute with a pass from Youri Tielemans.

Benjamin Sesko added the third goal in the 45+2 minute, while Lisandro Martinez increased the score in the 68th minute after a mishap by the opposing defence.

These performances give the Bayern Munich players and the Red Devils a reassuring start to their European campaigns, while hinting at challenges to face next spring.
