Mauves demand over three million for Badji, Anderlecht in the running

In the corridors of the Constant Vanden Stock stadium, the Mauves are scanning the winter market. Despite the transfer window being closed, the Brussels club, led by Antoine Sibierski, remains on the lookout for Amidou Badji, the right winger of Bandirmaspor, whose price exceeds three million euros.

Last summer, Antoine Sibierski ran an intensive campaign on the transfer market, multiplying discussions and proposals. According to observers, his agenda was filled with meetings with several European clubs. This activity left Anderlecht supporters, the Mauves, eager to see the results.

Badji attracts Turkish clubs

Amidou Badji, twenty years old, impressed in the Turkish top division with three goals and four assists in eight matches. His play as a right winger attracted Anderlecht's attention, which is closely following his progress. The Belgian club, nicknamed the Mauves, keeps the Badji file “on the table”.

Besides the Mauves, Sporting has shown interest, as has the Emirati club Al‑Wasl. Both teams are said to have already been very concrete, according to gathered information. Each has presented an official offer for the young player.

Bandirmaspor sets a price of three million

Bandirmaspor coach Ertugrul Arslan confirmed on Radyospor that the proposals received did not satisfy the club. “His agent did not want him to sign with Al‑Wasl. Our club also considered the proposed transfer fee insufficient. We demand a transfer fee exceeding three million euros, as well as a percentage on any future resale,” he said.

Having been in the Turkish top division for seven years, Bandirmaspor continues its expansion and remains the only elite club without floodlights. Management wants to strengthen its finances and is counting on Badji's sale to “put butter on the spinach”. The club hopes to fund other projects this way.

Transfermarkt estimates Amidou Badji's market value at one million sixty thousand euros. A transfer above three million, combined with a percentage on resale, would represent a substantial gain for Bandirmaspor. This prospect makes the offer even more attractive for interested clubs.

It remains to be seen whether Anderlecht, under the direction of Antoine Sibierski, will agree to pay the sum demanded by Bandirmaspor. The Belgian club's decision will determine if the young right winger joins the ranks of the Mauves this winter.
