The Norwegian football association had originally designated Haaland as one of the main speakers for the press conference before the Nations League match against Portugal. Due to the legal developments at Manchester City, it was decided at the last moment to remove the Norwegian striker from the spotlight.

Media manager Morten Skjonsberg confirmed via TV 2 that national team coach Stale Solbakken, together with Fredrik Aursnes and Andreas Schjelderup, will speak instead of Haaland. The change was announced shortly before the meeting.

Norway will host Portugal on Sunday in Oslo. The match is part of Nations League Group A and follows Norway’s opening victory over Denmark.
