The Premier League listed the alleged breaches in six categories. In total, 130 allegations were examined, of which 115 were accepted and 114 confirmed.
Manchester City have consistently rejected the claims, maintaining that they possess documentary evidence to support their position. The club received the charges in 2023 and has signalled its intention to appeal any sanction through the established legal mechanisms.
The independent commission must now finalise the sanction phase before the club can lodge an appeal. The process could extend further, given City’s determination to challenge the verdict. The investigation, which began in 2023, now enters this decisive stage, with the club’s future sporting and financial landscape under close scrutiny.
