Man City target Enzo Fernández as Rodri prepares Barcelona move

Manchester City are exploring a potential move for Chelsea’s 25‑year‑old Argentina midfielder Enzo Fernández, as the English club weighs its summer options, while Spain midfielder Rodri, 30, is expected to join Barcelona in a deal that could reshape the midfield landscape of both clubs.

City’s pursuit of Fernández would represent a significant investment in the South American midfield market, and the player’s profile aligns with the club’s recent recruitment strategy that favours technically gifted, versatile midfielders.

If the transfer materialises, Manchester City would add depth and creativity to Pep Guardiola’s squad, while Chelsea could lose a key Argentine talent and be forced to seek a replacement in the upcoming window.

Liverpool have held preliminary talks with Paris Saint‑Germain over France forward Bradley Barcola, 23, but a substantial valuation gap remains between the two clubs, with the Reds identifying Barcola as a potential replacement for outgoing attackers.
