Luxury loot vanishes from Maxime Caqueret’s Como villa
A quiet evening on the lakefront of Cernobbio turned into a crime scene when thieves burst into the villa of midfielder Maxime Caqueret, fleeing in a BMW with stolen luxury watches and designer bags. The robbery happened while Caqueret was out with his wife and son, and cameras caught at least four suspects loading the loot.
Caqueret, a midfielder for Serie A side Como, resides in a villa on the shores of Lake Como in the town of Cernobbio.
He reported that valuable watches and branded bags were missing after the break‑in.
Police reconstructions suggest a meticulously planned heist: security footage captured at least four individuals loading large bags before fleeing the property in a BMW.
The investigation remains open, with authorities continuing to pursue leads.
