Liverpool's €115 million chase for Barcola could reshape the attack

Liverpool are on the brink of a bold overhaul, prepared to shell out €115 million for winger Bradley Barcola while also pursuing Ibrahim Mbaye and Brazilian forward Endrick to supply the pace and width the Reds missed last season. The club hopes the trio will finally stretch compact defences that left them struggling to create chances.

The Reds found it difficult to stretch opponents across the pitch last season, with a lack of width and speed hindering their ability to break down tight defensive blocks.

Initially, Liverpool identified Yan Diomande as their top target to add depth on the wings, but that pursuit fell through, forcing the club to explore alternative options.

Attention then turned to Bradley Barcola of Paris Saint‑Germain, with negotiations reportedly underway and Liverpool ready to put €115 million on the table. Barcola is expected to bring the speed and drive the side currently miss.

In parallel, the Reds are also chasing Ibrahim Mbaye, another Paris Saint‑Germain player, with reports suggesting the deal is progressing.

Liverpool have also set their sights on Endrick, the Brazilian forward who has indicated a willingness to leave Real Madrid. Endrick could operate on the right or through the centre, helping address the squad’s shortage of left‑footed attackers, a need made urgent by Hugo Ekitike’s unavailability until 2027.

Combining Barcola, Mbaye and Endrick would deliver youth, pace, goals and experience; all three featured at this summer’s World Cup, offering a rare blend of talent that could lift Liverpool a level or two. Bet £10, Get £30 in free bets.
