Liverpool eye Olise as Salah replacement while Bayern refuse to sell

Liverpool are desperate to find a right‑hand replacement for Mohamed Salah, and Michael Olise has emerged as the most plausible target after being linked by TEAMtalk. Bayern Munich director Max Eberl has addressed the situation, confirming the France international remains under contract at the Allianz Arena.

Replacing Salah on the right

Mohamed Salah remains a legendary figure on Liverpool’s right flank, and the club have been scouting for a successor who can match his impact. Olise’s recent performances have been described as world‑class, making him a strong candidate to fill that void. The club’s hierarchy see him as the best option currently on the market.

Interest from Liverpool and Real Madrid

Besides Liverpool, Real Madrid have also been mentioned in reports linking them with the 24‑year‑old. TEAMtalk and other outlets have highlighted the growing speculation around a possible move to the Premier League. Both clubs view Olise as a player capable of thriving at the highest level.

“At what price point would you consider selling Michael Olise ?,” said Max Eberl, as Christian Falk relayed to CF Bayern Insider. “If you want to win the Champions League, that question doesn’t arise. That’s the beauty of Bayern Munich: you don’t have to waver, no matter the sum.”

Olise still has a three‑year contract with Bayern and, crucially, there is no release clause. Eberl added that the club expects to know by next summer whether the player is leaning towards an extension. This contractual situation adds another layer to any potential transfer.

The France international began his English career at Crystal Palace before joining Bayern, where he has enjoyed regular football at the Allianz Arena. At 24, he is eager to win the Champions League, a goal that aligns with Bayern’s ambitions. Nevertheless, a return to English football remains an attractive prospect for him.

Want clarity on the timeline? Eberl indicated that Bayern are not inclined to let the player leave, regardless of the sum offered, and that a decision on his contract will shape any future move. Until a new deal is agreed, Liverpool’s pursuit of Olise faces a significant obstacle.
