LIVE Nach FCK-beginn Wolfsburg: Führung hangs on Saturday night

LIVE Nach a strong FCK-Beginn, Wolfsburg pushes for the Führung as the Bundesliga‑Absteiger host 1. FC Kaiserslautern at 20:30 Uhr on Saturday, the first Samstagabendspiel of the new season after four midday Partien. Both sides eye their first Punkte in the campaign.

Der Bundesliga‑Absteiger will build on the four Partien played at Mittag, with the clash set for 20:30 Uhr as the season’s first Samstagabendspiel.

Wolfsburg aims to secure the Führung and collect early Punkte at home, hoping the momentum from the midday fixtures carries over into the evening.

Kaiserslautern arrives as Gast, determined to claim its own Punkte and challenge the hosts, turning the encounter into a test of who can claim the early advantage.

Both clubs are linked to the Bundesliga, the former as a recent relegated side. The contrast between Wolfsburg’s home‑field pressure and Kaiserslautern’s outsider ambition highlights a tightly contested opening night, with the first points of the campaign hanging in the balance.
